1. Open the app, allow Always-Allow Location, and put your phone in your pocket.
2. Mileway detects the moment your drive starts — and the moment it ends.
3. Swipe right for Work, left for Personal. Or tap a category. Or assign a client.
4. At tax time tap Reports → pick a date range → Export PDF. Done.

About the subscription

Free covers unlimited manual trips, the first 30 automatic trips each month, one vehicle, and a basic widget. Pro ($4.99 /mo or $29.99 /yr) removes the auto-detection cap and unlocks the IRS PDF, all CSV exports, MileIQ / Everlance import, up to 5 vehicles, unlimited clients, interactive widgets, and Siri shortcuts. Pro+ ($9.99 /mo or $69.99 /yr) adds unlimited vehicles, per-client report drill-downs, year-over-year comparison, themes, and Family Sharing. Free trial: 7 days for Pro, 14 days for Pro+. Auto-renews; cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

About your privacy

Mileway is unusual: it has no server, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. Your GPS, addresses, vehicle data, and client list live in a SwiftData store on this phone, encrypted while the phone is locked. iCloud sync (off by default) uses Apple's end-to-end-encrypted private database. The "Privacy" tab in Settings includes "Export all data (JSON)" and "Delete all data" — the second wipes the local database and the iCloud copy at once.
