Ochlos (ock-lohs) is the Greek word often translated "the crowd" — the ordinary people who gathered around Jesus. Ochlos is a Christ-centered place to gather online: a community, not a platform.

Somewhere along the way the internet became driven by algorithms, engagement metrics, and ads. We think something valuable was lost. Ochlos is an attempt to reclaim what the internet was once good at — connection, conversation, friendship, real community — and to center it on Christ.

WHAT YOU'LL FIND

• Social feed — share what's on your heart with the crowd, encourage one another, and follow along. No algorithm deciding what you see.

SAFETY & COMMUNITY

Some features require a free account, and a few have age requirements that keep the environment appropriate. Ochlos includes content moderation, a profanity filter, the ability to report posts and comments, and the ability to block other members. Our community standards are simple: be kind, be honest, and treat people the way you'd want to be treated.
