Karting Days turns a day at the track into a debrief you can actually act on.
Write your setup down trackside like you always have, then photograph the sheet. The app reads your handwriting into real fields. Add your MyChron data, pick the laps that count, and get back a report that shows where the time is and what to change before the next session.
TWO WAYS IN
Scan a handwritten setup sheet, or log the day by hand with no camera at all. Every later scan that day merges into the same sheet instead of starting a new one, and you can pull forward your last setup at that track instead of starting from blank.
YOU SEE WHAT GETS ANALYZED
Every analysis starts on a review screen: which sessions, which files, which laps. Drop the out lap, drop the one where you got held up, then confirm. Nothing is ever submitted blind.
A REPORT, NOT A WALL OF TEXT
Best lap, theoretical best, consistency, and where the easy time is sitting, up front. Under that, a corner scorecard ranking the corners costing you most, sector and corner charts that name their own baselines, and a breakdown of what your setup changes actually did. The full written analysis is one tap down if you want to read it.
EVERY REPORT ENDS WITH A NEXT STEP
A target lap for the next session and a short list of changes worth making, as a checklist you tick off at the track. Tell it how the kart actually felt and the next report weighs that against what the data measured. Ask a follow-up question and the answer stays attached to the report.
WATCH THE LAP BACK
Play back any lap on a track map colored by speed, or switch to load to see grip instead. A dot tracks your position while speed, RPM, lateral G, and elapsed time update beside it, all synced to a scrubbable speed and RPM strip. Corner notes from the report appear on the map, right where they happened.
SEE HOW YOU STACK UP
Import another driver's data file and find out where they are actually quicker. Lap and sector deltas, corner by corner, one racing line colored for who held the edge, plus a ghost race you can watch. Their data stays walled off in its own report and never touches your bests. The same tools work on you: any two days at a track side by side, and your best-lap trend over the season.
WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO CHANGE
Pick what the kart is doing, pushing on entry, loose on exit, won't rotate, hopping under braking, and get fixes ranked in the order to try them. Every fix links to a plain explanation of what that adjustment actually does. The troubleshooter and the reference guide under it work with no signal at all.
