SchoolSafe QR is a school safety and student check-in application designed to help parents, guardians, teachers, and schools stay informed about student arrival and departure activities.

Parents and guardians can link their children to their account and conveniently view student information, QR codes, check-in and check-out activity, school news, and important alerts from their assigned school.

Key Features:

Student Check-In and Check-Out SchoolSafe QR records student arrival and departure activity through the school's QR-based check-in system. Parents can view their child's latest check-in or check-out status and scan history.

Manage Your Children Parents and guardians can link supported student accounts and view their children's school information from one account.

Student QR Codes Access the QR code associated with a linked student for use with the school's SchoolSafe QR check-in and check-out process.

Scan History Review previous student check-in and check-out records, including the recorded date and time.

School Alerts Receive and review important school alerts, including emergency announcements, class suspensions, schedule changes, early checkout notices, and other school communications. Alerts that require acknowledgement can be acknowledged directly in the app.

School News and Events Stay informed about school announcements, activities, events, achievements, and other updates published by the school.

Parent and Guardian Profile Manage account information, parent information, notification preferences, password, and other available account settings.

Teacher Access Authorized teachers can access SchoolSafe QR features made available by their assigned school to support student and school activities. SchoolSafe QR brings student check-in information, school communications, alerts, and parent access together in one convenient application.

Some features and information depend on the participating school and the user's assigned role.

In-App Account Deletion

Eligible Parent/Guardian users can permanently delete their SchoolSafe QR account directly within the app through Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account. After confirmation, applicable account-specific personal information is deleted or anonymized, authentication credentials and active sessions are revoked, notification/device tokens are removed, and the deleted user is signed out.

Certain school records, including student attendance, check-in/check-out history, QR scan transactions, safety records, and applicable audit records, may be retained where necessary for legitimate school operations, safeguarding, security, legal or regulatory requirements, dispute resolution, or applicable records-retention requirements.

Deleting a Parent/Guardian account does not automatically delete a student's official school record or historical attendance and check-in/check-out records maintained independently by the participating school.

Users can access Help & Support for assistance with account access, linked students, QR functionality, check-in/check-out activity, notifications, alerts, school information, account deletion, and other SchoolSafe QR functionality.

SchoolSafe QR is intended for participating schools and their authorized parents, guardians, teachers, and school personnel. Available information and functionality may vary according to the participating school, user role, school configuration, and services enabled by the school.

SchoolSafe QR brings student safety information, attendance, QR check-in and check-out, school communications, alerts, acknowledgements, news, events, and parent-teacher access together in one convenient application.
