I've always thought photos and jewels are the same sort of thing: both are things we put away carefully, things we'd hate to lose.

So I set out a table for you — with a pair of scissors and a jewelry box on it. Sit down, take your time, cut a little, paste a little, and trim an ordinary photo with stars, pearls and small glowing things.

Snipsnip Pick up the scissors, cut your photo and piece it back together, and let simple, sweet shapes scatter across it. Any carelessly taken snapshot gets a second life.

Jewelry Open the jewelry box. Shimmering sequins, rhinestones and satin bows gather neatly onto your photo, and a still moment lights up, gently.
