Atbaag is a restaurant rating app built around the people you actually trust. Live in Madinah, Jeddah, and Riyadh.

Most rating apps show you what strangers thought. Atbaag shows you what your friends thought — and what their friends thought — alongside a city-wide community score. Three tiers, one map, no algorithm pretending to know you.

HOW IT WORKS Open the app and the map fills with places you can eat near you: restaurants, cafés, bakeries, dessert spots, shisha lounges. Each pin shows a score driven by whichever trust tier you're viewing:

• Inner Circle — your direct friends' ratings, attributed by name (their name as it appears in your phone's contacts). • Network — friends of friends, shown as an anonymised aggregate once at least two people have rated a place. No names, no exposure. • City — the community average for whichever city the place sits in, plus places our curators have flagged.

Tap a pin to see who rated it and how high, save it to your "Want to try" list, rate it yourself, or get directions in one tap. Tap Search to jump to a specific restaurant, filter the map by category and sub-type (shawarma, specialty coffee, dessert, and more), or dial up the star floor under "All" if you only want the strongest options.

BROWSE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT You don't need to sign in to look around. The map and the City tier are open to everyone. Sign in (phone number via WhatsApp or SMS, or Sign in with Apple) only when you want to rate, save a place, add a friend, or share.

BUILT ON TRUST, NOT ALGORITHMS • No third-party analytics. No ad networks. No selling your data. • Contact matching for friends happens on-device — your phone hashes each contact number with SHA-256 before anything leaves your phone. Atbaag's server never sees raw contact data. • Delete your account from inside the app any time, no questions asked. Everything you've created is gone immediately.

THREE CITIES, ONE APP V1 covers Madinah, Jeddah, and Riyadh end-to-end — thousands of places seeded from public data, with curator-verified scores layered on top. We'd rather have deep, trustworthy coverage of a few cities than a thin spread across many.
