AA Birthdays

I designed this app because I go to a lot of meetings and have tried to add AA Birthdays in my calendar on my phone, but it was hard to keep track. The thing is that time takes time, and I like to recognize and acknowledge the time people put into their personal growth. This app makes it easy for me to add a birthday in a meeting, and when it comes up next year, this app sends me a reminder to call or send a text to the birthday person. It is an easy way for me to touch base with another on this journey, a way to help me build community.

When you first open the app, make sure to go to the settings page and add your name(this allows a personalized notification) and allow notifications. This will ensure that you get a Notification on your phone at 9:00am the day of someone's birthday. When the notification pops up, you can click on it and it will take you to the Birthday. Just click the phone number and you can text or call the birthday person and keep community support front and center.
