Badcoin Wallet

Hold your own keys. Send and receive Badcoin on mainnet from your iPhone. No accounts, no backups, no middleman. You bring the key; the app uses it.

Badcoin is a simple, non-custodial wallet for the Badcoin blockchain. You import a private key you already control, and the app gives you a clean way to use it on your iPhone. WHAT IT DOES

• Imports a Badcoin private key (WIF format): paste it or scan a QR.
• Shows your balance and your address as a QR code.
• Send Badcoin to any Badcoin address on mainnet. The wallet builds and signs the transaction on your phone, then broadcasts it to the network.
• Activity feed of recent transactions touching your wallet (sent, received, internal), with the BAD amount, short transaction ID, confirmations, and timestamp.
• Stores the private key in the iOS Keychain on this phone, encrypted at rest, never synced to iCloud. THE TRUST MODEL, HONESTLY Whoever holds the private key owns the wallet. If you type or scan a private key into this app, the app considers you the owner of those coins. Apps cannot tell who you are or whether the key is "really" yours: only the math can. Protect your key like cash. If you lose your phone, your coins are not lost, as long as you still have the private key elsewhere. If you lose the private key, your coins are gone permanently. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
• It does not create a key for you. You bring your own.
• It does not back up your key. If you delete the app or wipe the device, the key is gone unless you have it written down somewhere else.
• It does not have a PIN, password, or Face ID lock inside the app. iOS unlocks the Keychain when your phone is unlocked. That is the only protection.
• It does not custody your coins, take a fee on transactions beyond the standard network fee paid to miners, or report your activity to anyone.
• It does not facilitate token sales, ICOs, fiat conversion, or in-app purchases.
• It does not support multiple wallets at once. To switch wallets, tap Clear Wallet and re-import a different key. NETWORK The wallet reads balance and transaction history from the public Badcoin block explorer at explorer.badcoin.dev, and broadcasts signed transactions through the same backend. Your private key never leaves your phone. PRIVACY This app collects no data. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising. The only third-party code in the app is a cryptography library (secp256k1) that performs key derivation and signing locally on your device. ABOUT BADCOIN Badcoin started as a community memecoin in 2018 and went dormant in 2024. It was revived in late 2025 by an independent group of contributors. This wallet is part of that revival: a deliberate, small iPhone client that respects the project's no-control, community-owned ethos. There is no company behind it. There is no support contract. There is a group of hobbyists who care about the chain. COMING LATER A future build will activate the Bad Pixies tab, an on-chain pixel-portrait collection native to the Badcoin blockchain. The current build ships a preview of that tab so you can see where the project is going; Send and Receive Pixie become functional once the chain-side support is live.
