CrimeAware is a UK public-data awareness app that brings official police data, HM Land Registry sold-price information and Office for National Statistics data together in one clear, accessible place.

Search by postcode, town or city to explore official street-level police reports on an interactive map. Browse crime categories, approximate locations and published outcomes, view different police-data months, and compare a selected month with the previous available month.

The Insights section provides separate views for crime, housing and local statistics. Explore crime summaries and category breakdowns, review annual residential sold-price information, and view area-level population, household economy and housing-tenure statistics.

Use My Area to save a preferred location, manage dataset-update notifications, access downloaded crime data, remember map preferences, and quickly reach CrimeAware’s support, privacy, legal and data-source information.

Police data may be delayed, approximate, anonymised, incomplete or unavailable depending on the police force, location or reporting period. Scotland publishes police information differently, so comparable street-level reports may be limited or unavailable in some Scottish areas.

Crime locations are approximate and anonymised. They should not be treated as exact addresses, proof of criminal activity at a particular property, or a judgement about an individual street, home or person.

Downloaded data relates to supported CrimeAware police datasets. An internet connection may still be required for map imagery, updated information and other online services.

House-price information is based on completed HM Land Registry residential sold-price records. It is not a live property valuation, mortgage valuation, estate-agent estimate or current asking-price guide. Some records may include unusual, non-standard or exceptional transactions.

ONS and Census information consists of official area-level estimates, survey results or published snapshots. It may not reflect individual streets, homes, households or people.
