Start with free check-ins, drawing and your first Smiley Hamster. Features listed under SMILEY MAN PLUS require a paid subscription, purchased separately in the app.

• The expanded set of 16 selectable feelings and their Feelings Book explanations.
• The full calming-story library beyond the two free starter stories.
• Smiley Man read-aloud for approved prompts and stories. Child-recorded voice notes are separate and free.
• Additional Smiley Pet eggs and pets beyond the first free Smiley Hamster.
• Illustrated in-app parent reports, showing recorded feeling patterns, activity follow-ups and practical conversation suggestions. Reports adapt to available history and keep skipped answers separate from measured changes.
• Optional weekly report emails to a verified parent email address, enabled only after the parent opts in. Activation follows a 24-hour waiting period and follow-up notice. Emails use the latest structured summaries uploaded by the app.
• Family Device Sync for sharing structured check-in information with a linked parent device.

Purchases and subscription controls are parent-gated. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You can continue with Free; saved family content and existing pets remain when Plus ends.

PRIVACY AND PARENT GUIDANCE Private iCloud Backup and Family Device Sync are separate. Family Device Sync requires paid Plus and excludes raw recordings, drawings, journal/story text and PIN material from linked-viewer snapshots.

Weekly email is a separate opt-in Cloudflare service. It processes the parent email, selected child names and structured check-in summaries. Drawings, recordings and private writing stay out of email.

Parent patterns are conversation starters, not clinical conclusions. Parents control saved-content visibility. Smiley Man read-aloud plays bundled audio; child content is not sent to an AI narration service.

No third-party ads, third-party analytics SDK or cross-app tracking. Smiley Man Check-In is not a diagnosis, screening, treatment, therapy, medical, or crisis-service app.
