StockWise is a smart, offline-first grocery planning app that learns what your household actually buys, predicts when you'll run out, and quietly adjusts shopping suggestions for parties, vacations, and holiday meals. Everything runs on your device — no account, no server, no data sharing.

WHY STOCKWISE

• Stop forgetting essentials. Smart Suggestions rank what you're most likely to need next, each with a plain-language reason ("usually weekly", "ran out 3 days ago", "needed for Saturday's party"). Add, snooze 7 days, or skip — the engine learns from each tap. • Stop double-buying. Add a duplicate by mistake? StockWise asks whether to bump the quantity or skip — so "Rice" doesn't end up on your list three times. • Stop juggling lists across stores. Shopping Mode auto-splits your list by the store you usually buy each item at, so a multi-store run flows top-to-bottom. • Stop guessing what to bring. The Events tab seeds party / guests / vacation / holiday-meal chip catalogs you can one-tap into a list.

HOW IT WORKS

PANTRY • Track everything you keep on hand, grouped by zone (Fridge, Freezer, Pantry, Cleaning, Bathroom, Pet, Closet, Medicine Cabinet, Garage, Office). Quantity steppers, not vague "low/out" toggles. • Pantry detail shows last purchase, full price history, predicted run-out date, and your consumption rhythm — all from your own data. • Search and filter by zone, stock state, or recurring vs. one-off. • Bulk-select rows to re-assign zone, category, or archive in a single tap. • Favorite items get a boost in suggestions.

GROCERY LIST • Quick add by typing or by voice — speech runs entirely on-device (Apple Speech framework). Voice transcript review before commit so misheard phrases don't sneak in. • Build a Smart List on demand: review the proposed items, deselect anything you don't want, commit. • Collapsible category sections, 5-second swipe-to-delete undo, item-detail editor. • Share the list as plain-text Markdown via the system share sheet — paste into Messages, Notes, anywhere.

SHOPPING MODE • Start a trip, optionally split by store. Check items off as you go. • Three cost modes: Off (no tracking), Receipt total (enter items / other / tax at the end), or Per-item (capture each price as you go). • Per-item prices use a wheel picker with wrapping cents and a recent-prices chip strip. • Save a partial trip and resume later; a trip can span multiple stores and sessions.

INSIGHTS • 30-day stats are free, always — month-to-date spend, top categories, smart-suggestion acceptance rate. • Unlock 12-month spend trends, price anomalies (items getting pricier than your 90-day average), and the full category drill-in with Remove Ads or a 24-hour rewarded ad. • Per-category drill-in shows the top items driving each bucket.

SIRI & SHORTCUTS • "Hey Siri, add milk to StockWise" works out of the box via App Intents.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • Offline-first. Pantry, lists, history, events, and budgets live on your device. • No account required. No sign-up. No password to forget. • On-device speech for voice add; phrases never leave the phone. • Optional iCloud sync via your private CloudKit container — your data, your iCloud, Apple can't read it either. • Reset Pantry Activity in Settings wipes purchase history and active lists while preserving your catalog and household setup.
