ZeitWerk is the time-tracking app for German SMEs developed to meet the requirements of the Working Hours Act (ArbZG), GDPR and GoBD.

Track working hours, breaks, leave, and sick days in a legally compliant and transparent manner—without being forced to use the cloud. ZeitWerk automatically enforces statutory regulations, allowing you to focus on your business rather than legal statutes.

KEY FEATURES • Tap-to-Clock-In/Out: Quick clock-in/out, break tracking with type selection, and a live display of current working time. • Built-in ArbZG Compliance: Automatic monitoring of maximum daily working hours (Section 3) and statutory break requirements (Section 4: 30 min after 6 hours, 45 min after 9 hours). • Absence Management: Digitally request and approve vacation, sick leave, and special leave. Remaining leave is calculated automatically. • Employee Management: Full-time, part-time, "mini-job," and working student roles with individual hour quotas and role-based permissions (Admin / Employee). • Shift Planning: Assign shifts, export as PDF, and view on the employee's device. • Monthly PDF Reports: Automatically generated monthly statements for individual employees or the entire team ideal for payroll accounting and tax advisors. • Audit Log (GDPR Art. 30): Every action that alters data is logged with a cryptographic signature tamper-proof and audit-ready. • GDPR Data Export (Art. 20): Full data portability via JSON export at the touch of a button. • Optional: Geofencing: Restrict clocking in/out to the company location subject to the employee's explicit consent. • QR Code Login: Securely onboard employees who do not have an Apple ID using a QR code. • Biometric Login: Face ID / Touch ID for admins.
