AI firearm ID for officers
Identify any firearm from a photo. Built for property-and-evidence officers, armorers, detectives, collectors, and estate executors. Reference tool, not a marketplace.
Recovered firearm with no markings you can read? Estate intake with unfamiliar pieces? Property room logging an unknown manufacturer? GoBallistic AI identifies firearms from a single photo using AI vision. Point your camera, get a structured ID card in about 5 seconds: variant, year, arsenal markings, country of origin, approximate value range, and historical context.
LAW ENFORCEMENT USE
GoBallistic AI is built for the workflows that real departments handle every day:
- Property-and-evidence officers logging recovered firearms with accurate variant and country-of-origin data for the chain-of-custody record
- Department armorers evaluating retired duty weapons, auction lots, donations, and trade-ins -- variant + year + condition information surfaced in under a minute per piece
- Detectives doing field-quick identification on a recovered weapon before the forensic queue picks it up
- Training officers building academy curriculum that touches historical or surplus firearms
- Court-prep and report-writing where exact manufacturer + variant matters
FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES
Departments interested in institutional licensing for agency-wide use can email support@stratalogic.io for a quote. Pricing is case-by-case based on department size and use case.
PRIVACY POSTURE FOR AGENCY USE
- Photos are processed by an AI vision model (Anthropic Claude) under an API agreement that does not train on or retain submitted images
- GoBallistic does not retain photos on its servers; identification results return to the officer's device and stay there
- No officer identity, badge number, department, or case ID is collected by the app
- No firearm purchase data, ammunition data, or transactional information is collected or shared
- Per-request cache lives only on the officer's device
