WHAT ROLL FINDS

• Similar series — bursts, near-identical scenes and true duplicates from your whole library. Roll picks the strongest shot and says why: sharper focus, eyes open, balanced exposure. • Screenshots & short-lived — boarding passes, receipts, parking spots. Useful for a week, forgotten for years. Roll knows the difference between a screenshot worth keeping and one that expired. • Weak shots — blurry, too dark, eyes closed. The photos you'd never miss, gathered so you can set them aside in one pass.

HOW ROLL WORKS — THREE STEPS

Roll keeps deciding and deleting apart. Two actions, two words — and a third step that belongs to Apple.

1. SET ASIDE. Tap a photo to keep it or set it aside. Photos you set aside collect in a list. They stay in your library.
2. LET GO. When you are ready, you let the whole list go in one step. The photos leave your library for Apple's Recently Deleted, where you can bring them back for 30 days.
3. APPLE'S PHOTOS APP. This last step is not in Roll. Empty Recently Deleted there once and your space is back — or wait 30 days and it comes back on its own.

That third step is why Roll will not promise you a number of gigabytes in a minute. Apple holds deleted photos for 30 days, and no app can shorten that. Roll tells you where your photos are at every step instead.

Roll pre-selects only where quality is genuinely measurable, and explains its pick in one line. Everywhere else it stays quiet and leaves the choice to you.

HOW ROLL RESPECTS YOU

Roll analyzes your photos on this iPhone, and what it learns about them stays here. The only things Roll sends out are your purchase and, once at install, Apple's attribution — neither one carries anything about your photos. Apple Photos stays the source of truth. Favorites and album photos are protected — Roll never sets them aside.
