Dermi Atlas Companion

Dermi Atlas Companion brings Dermi Atlas to iPhone and iPad. Dermi Atlas is the image documentation platform used by dermatology and aesthetic professionals to capture, organize, and compare reference photographs of their work.

Atlas Companion facilitates documentation with camera capture, lens switching, and on-device reference-aligned overlays, plus secure access to Atlas servers on the local network so capture and review stay together in one workflow. Quick gestures return from Atlas to the home server list at any time.

REFERENCE-ALIGNED CAPTURE

• Camera with lens switching, optical and digital zoom, tap-to-focus, manual flash, low-light indicator, gridlines, a digital level, and a three-second self-timer.
• Pick a reference image inside Atlas and capture a new photo aligned to it. The reference appears over the live preview as either a clean outline or the full image, with an opacity slider for precise framing.
• The reference subject is detected and isolated on-device, so only the relevant outline shows over the live view.
• Hardware shutter button support and orientation-aware controls for handheld and tripod work.

MULTI-SERVER WORKSPACE

• Connect to one or more Atlas servers on the local network, plus a built-in Cloud Demo for evaluation.
• Each server has a customizable name, color, and icon, so the home list reads at a glance.
• Live reachability badges show Trusted, Untrusted, or Unreachable before tapping in. Switch between servers with a single tap.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• Local network Atlas servers connect over HTTPS with certificate pinning, so the app only trusts the exact server it was paired with.
• New certificates can be installed through the standard Settings app, with in-app guidance, and rotated certificates are surfaced for review before reconnecting.
• Each server keeps its session and data isolated.

QUICK NAVIGATION

• A three-finger swipe down or a quick shake returns to the home server list at any time.
• Downloads and print jobs route through the standard share and print panels.
• Auto-launch into Atlas is off by default; the home server list is always the starting point.

BUILT FOR BOTH FORM FACTORS

• Layouts tailored to both form factors, including a sidebar of servers and a detail pane on iPad.
