The Suntory Grower's App is a dedicated tool designed for authorised blackcurrant growers and harvesting teams working with Suntory. The application streamlines the process of registering fruit bins, managing harvest collections, and preparing batches for dispatch to processing facilities.

Built specifically for field operations, the app supports NFC-enabled bin tracking and is designed to work reliably in rural environments where internet connectivity may be limited.

Bin Registration Register harvest bins quickly and accurately by:

• Selecting the appropriate bin type
• Scanning two NFC tags attached to the bin
• Storing bin identification details for future tracking This process helps ensure every bin can be uniquely identified throughout the supply chain.

Batch Creation & Dispatch Management Create and manage harvest batches ready for transportation to Suntory processing facilities. Users can:

• Scan NFC-tagged bins
• Add bins to a dispatch batch
• Record Fruit Dispatch Numbers
• Capture haulier information
• Review and confirm dispatch details before submission NFC-Based Tracking The app uses NFC technology to provide fast and reliable identification of bins in the field, reducing manual data entry and helping prevent tracking errors.

Offline Capability Designed for use in remote farming locations, the app continues to function even when mobile or Wi-Fi coverage is unavailable. Data entered while offline is securely stored on the device and automatically synchronised when a network connection becomes available.
