LED Ticker

Companion app for the open-source ESP32 LED Ticker (an 8×32 MAX7219 LED matrix display). Configure your sign over Bluetooth — no cloud, no account, no data leaves your device.

What you can do:

• Set an active sign — type a status (BUSY, FOCUS, BRB, anything) and pick how long it should stay up: 15 minutes, an hour, until you clear it. The matrix preempts whatever it was scrolling and shows your sign instead.

• Save your favorite signs as preset chips. Tap one to put it up. Edit the list anytime.

• Pick what scrolls when no sign is active: stock tickers, weather, the clock, or any combination.

• Configure WiFi, your Finnhub API key, ticker symbols, and weather locations — all from the iOS app.

• Switch between multiple LED Tickers from one app — useful if you have one in the office and one at home.

The hardware design and firmware are open source. Build your own from the parts list at https://ledticker.app. Without the hardware, this app does nothing.

This is a personal project app — built for a specific device, distributed for the small number of people who own one. There are no in-app purchases, no analytics, no telemetry, and no account.
