6 STAGES OF ESCALATING DIFFICULTY

Stage 1: one circle, slow flash. Easy. Stage 2: faster. Stage 3: two circles simultaneously. Both must be tapped. Stage 4: red fake shapes appear. Tap one and it's instantly game over. Stage 5: three circles plus fakes. Chaos. Stage 6: 34 pixel circles, 160 millisecond flashes. The average human reaction time is 250 milliseconds. Good luck.

The harder stages aren't faster versions of the easier ones — they're entirely new tests. Stage 4 isn't Stage 3 sped up. It's Stage 3 with the added cognitive load of distinguishing real targets from decoys, while everything happens faster than your brain wants to process.
