Features & Capabilities

Sign in with a glance. No passwords. No biometrics stored or sent.

Prove it's really you signing in — not just someone holding your phone.

SenseCrypt is a passwordless face sign-in app for websites. Scan a QR code on the site, glance at your camera, and you're in. No passwords. No texted codes. No copying numbers between apps. No account to set up.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM YOUR PHONE'S FACE UNLOCK

When a website signs you in using your phone's built-in face unlock, the site is really trusting your phone — not your face. Your phone might trust more than one face — many devices let you enroll alternates for partners, family, or different appearances. The websites you sign into don't know which face unlocked the phone. SenseCrypt does.

That's why SenseCrypt is different. The website itself sets the face it expects to see. So when you sign in, the site isn't just trusting your device — it's confirming that you, the person who registered, are actually there.

NO SENSECRYPT ACCOUNT NEEDED

Most authenticator apps make you sign up first — create an account, fill in a form, set yet another password. SenseCrypt skips that.

When you first connect a site to your phone, SenseCrypt sends a one-time PIN to the email address of your login. Enter the PIN in SenseCrypt once, and your device is bound to that your email. No signup form. No password to set or remember. Nothing to log into.

After that, every sign-in to that site is just a glance.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. The website sends a face locked sign-in request to your phone as a QR code.
  2. You glance at your camera. Your face unlocks the request, right on your device.
  3. Your phone sends back a signed "yes." That's all the website sees.

Your face never leaves your phone during sign-in and the sign in request contains no biometrics!

YOUR PRIVACY

When you register with a site, your reference photo is turned into a one-way mathematical vault. The system can use your face to unlock the vault, but the vault can't be reversed back into a face — it's not a photo, its not your biometric, and it can't be reused as a biometric anywhere else.

Sign-ins themselves don't move any biometrics. Your phone unlocks the request with your face locally and sends back a signed yes. That's it.

Sites that use SenseCrypt can run the whole system on their own servers if they prefer.

WHO IT'S FOR

• Anyone tired of passwords, password resets, and texted codes • People who don't want yet another account with yet another login • Sites that need to verify a real person — not just whoever's holding a phone • Higher-stakes accounts: banking, healthcare, work systems, admin tools

WHAT SENSECRYPT IS NOT

It's not a password manager. It's not a 2FA code generator. There's no SenseCrypt signup, no password to remember, nothing to log into. It's a face-based sign-in for websites that support SenseCrypt — open the app, point it at a SenseCrypt QR code, glance at the camera. That's the whole sign-in.
