Beekeeping & Hive tracker
ColonyTrack is a field record for beekeepers. Scan a hive, say or tap what you saw, and it is still there next season when you need it.
WHAT IT IS
A tool you can use with gloves on, in the sun, with bees around. Twelve guided inspections that ask what to look at instead of handing you a blank form. Voice dictation when your hands are full. A QR or NFC sticker on each hive so the right record is one tap away. Charts for varroa, colony strength and brood. A history you can read at a glance and export whenever you like.
WHAT IT IS NOT
It does not diagnose your colony. It will not tell you what disease you are looking at, and it will not tell you what to put in your hive. No formulations, no doses, no application schedules, because for a registered treatment the label is the law and it is not ours to rewrite. Where a label sets a window, the app counts it for you. The rest is yours.
WHY IT WORKS THIS WAY
Beekeeping advice is not in short supply. Reliable records are. A tool that starts telling you what your colony has will eventually be confidently wrong at the worst possible moment, and after that you ignore it. So this one measures and remembers, and leaves the judgement where it belongs.
THE QUEEN LIFECYCLE ENGINE
When a hive starts raising a queen, whether it is superseding, preparing to swarm, or you made a split, the app runs the queen development clock. It counts the days and tells you when to look again and what you should expect to find. One timeline covers supersedure, swarm cells, splits, emergency queens, and a mated queen you caged and installed. Free, on by default, and off again in one tap.
TREATMENTS THAT KNOW WHERE YOU ARE
Some treatments are a course, not a single application. Log the first one and the app carries the schedule: open the hive next time and it already knows the product and tells you which dose you are on. Every entry in your history keeps its own place in the sequence, so a season read back months later still makes sense. Finish early in one tap when the colony says so.
FIELD REFERENCE
Photographs of what things actually look like, so you can record them accurately. Eggs, young larvae, queens, queen cells, backfilled brood nests, deformed wings, K-wing, pests at the entrance. Each one says what is in the picture and stops there.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
Inspections, photos and hive history export to CSV any time, free or paid. If you leave, you take everything with you. No paywall on your own work.
