One Little City Display

One Little City Display is the family calendar that runs on the iPad you already own.

The one sitting in a drawer. The one your kids outgrew. The 2018 model you replaced last year. Drop it in a $20 stand on the kitchen counter, prop it on a desk in the family room, or wall-mount it if you want — and it becomes a family calendar your whole household reads from. Whole week. Every kid. Both parents. School events. Summer camps. Chores. All at once, all visible from across the room.

WHY NOT A DEDICATED FRAME

Dedicated digital-frame calendars charge $160 to $600 for the hardware, plus an annual subscription. They're frozen single-purpose devices that sacrifice counter space forever.

The iPad you already own does the same job for $0 of new hardware and $20 of stand. And it's still an iPad — pick it up, watch a recipe, video-call grandma, hand it to a kid for homework, then drop it back in the stand.

No login on the iPad. No subscription. No new device on your counter.

HOW IT WORKS

You install the One Little City iPhone app first (free, in the App Store). That's where you add your kids, connect your Google Calendar, invite your co-parent, and forward school emails.

Then you install One Little City Display on the iPad. Open it, get a 6-character pairing code, type the code into the iPhone app. The display is now your family calendar. Setup takes about 30 seconds.

The kid card flips, the star lands, the iPhone gets the update. • HEADS-UP ALERTS. When something important hits the calendar, the screen flashes a soft notice.

One Little City Display is the display. The One Little City iPhone app (separate, free) is where you set things up. You need both, in the same household.
