Send clinical photos taken during outpatient visits or house calls directly to your hospital's PACS — no dedicated camera, USB device, or PC required. Capture, DICOM conversion, and transmission all happen within the app. Automatic face blurring (de-identification) and annotation drawing are also supported, letting you protect patient privacy and organize visual information at the same time.

Automatically detect faces and apply blurring before DICOM transmission.
Image annotation
Draw arrows, circles, and text before sending. 4 colors, 3 line thicknesses, eraser, undo. Useful for marking lesion sites or pre-operative notes.
Video, PDF & document scan transmission
Videos (up to 30s, 5 per transmission) sent as multi-frame DICOM; PDFs as Encapsulated PDF; Live Photos as Cine video; scanned documents as multi-page PDF. Each sent as a separate series.
Share from other apps
Import via "Send to MediShot" from Photos or file sharing (Share Extension).
MWM (Modality Worklist) integration
Retrieve patient info from a worklist server and send images linked to the order.
Scheduled transmission
Queue images to send later, with conditions like Wi-Fi only or charging only.
Audit log CSV export
Export transmission history as CSV (14 fields: patient ID, date/time, count, result, etc.) for record-keeping and incident investigation.

Privacy & Security
Patient information is stored on-device only when transmission history or logs are enabled. Stored data can be protected via Face ID / Touch ID (disabled by default). Images and patient information are never sent to any cloud service other than the configured PACS destination. Data protection via SwiftData File Protection. Communication logs disabled by default.

MediShot Pro is available as a Monthly or Annual auto-renewing subscription. The exact price is shown in the App Store at purchase and may vary by region. Payment is processed via the App Store and charged to your Apple ID. Auto-renewal continues unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
