RedPing SOS is an advanced personal safety app built for real-world emergencies, everyday readiness, and trusted-contact coordination on iPhone and iPad.

In distress situations, people may not be able to explain who they are, where they are, or what is happening. RedPing SOS is designed for those moments. It helps users act quickly, share critical context, and keep trusted contacts informed when time, clarity, and communication are limited.

HOW IT WORKS

Manual SOS is intentional and designed to reduce false alarms: • Press and hold SOS for 5 seconds to activate • Follow a live emergency session view in-app • Share location context and movement updates with trusted contacts • Keep emergency coordination visible while the incident is active

On iPhone, manual SOS can open Apple Messages with a prefilled alert so the user can complete carrier SMS by tapping Send.

ADVANCED PROTECTION (SUPPORTED PLANS)

RedPing SOS includes Advance Crash and Fall Detection (ACFD) on supported plans. If a potential serious event is detected, the app can enter a verification and escalation flow designed for situations where the user may be injured, disoriented, or unable to respond quickly.

Last Ping adds additional failsafe escalation support for missed incidents, prolonged inactivity, and battery-critical scenarios.

APPLE WATCH COMPANION

On iPhone, the paired Apple Watch companion can: • Sync with the phone • Reflect allowed ACFD state • Request SOS through the phone-led workflow

The watch companion is not a standalone emergency dispatch system.

FOR FAMILIES AND ORGANIZATIONS

RedPing SOS is built to support coordinated safety response across individuals, families, and organizations. In high-stress events or larger incidents, shared context and faster follow-through can improve coordination for both trusted contacts and authorized responders where available.
