Features & Capabilities

See who's actually in your life — not who you think is. Orbit maps your relationships by how often you talk, based on Dunbar's research. Private. Offline. Honest.

Orbit is a quiet, honest map of your relationships.

We all keep a mental list of "close friends" — but the truth is in how often you actually talk to them. Orbit gently shows you the gap between the people you think are close and the people who really are. No social feeds. No notifications begging for attention. Just a clear picture of where your time and care are going.

Built on the research of anthropologist Robin Dunbar, Orbit organizes the people in your life into four natural layers:

• 5 — your inner circle (weekly contact) • 15 — your sympathy group (monthly contact) • 50 — your friends (every 2–3 months) • 150 — your active network (at least yearly)

You log a contact in two taps. Orbit places each person on the right orbit automatically, based on how recently you connected. Over time, you see your real social world — not the curated one.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Log calls, meetings, messages, and meaningful moments in seconds • See everyone you care about on one beautiful circular map • Get a gentle "reality check" when someone close starts drifting • Track stats on who you've reached out to — and who's been quiet • Add notes, birthdays, and context to remember what matters • Protect everything with a PIN

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Orbit never reads your contacts, messages, or call history. Nothing leaves your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics tracking your behavior. The data is yours, stored locally, and disappears when you delete the app.

WHY ORBIT

Most "relationship" apps are CRMs in disguise — built for networking, sales, or productivity. Orbit is the opposite. It's a soft, slow tool for the people who already matter. A way to notice when your best friend hasn't heard from you in three months. A reminder that closeness is something you do, not something you feel.

Orbit doesn't push you to "engage" or send streaks. It just helps you remember.

Start with your inner 5. See where the rest land. Reconnect with the people you've been meaning to call.
