Flashcards · spaced recall
A quiet, offline notebook for things you want to remember. Now with FSRS scheduling, text‑to‑speech, image cards and a starter library of ready‑made decks.
RecallPaper is a quiet, offline flashcard notebook with modern spaced repetition. Build your own decks or pick a ready‑made one from the in‑app library, then review a handful of cards each day. Everything lives on your device — no accounts, no cloud, no tracking.
WHY RECALLPAPER
• Modern scheduling. RecallPaper ships with FSRS (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler), the same family of algorithms used by power Anki users — not just classic SM‑2. Your reviews get smarter the more you study.
• Four ways to study. Pick what fits the moment: classic recall, typed answers with fuzzy grading, multiple choice generated from the deck, or audio‑only listening mode.
• Spoken cards. Built‑in text‑to‑speech reads your cards out loud in the deck's chosen language — handy for vocabulary, idioms, and travel phrases.
• Cards with depth. Add hints, examples, tags, and images. Use cloze deletion to hide key words inside a sentence ({{c1::like this}}).
• Starter library. Open the library and add curated packs in a tap: irregular verbs, world capitals, multiplication tables, Greek alphabet, music theory, periodic table, kana N5, and more.
• Daily reminders. Optional local notifications nudge you at the time you choose, with quiet hours so weekends stay quiet.
• Backup & import. Export everything to a JSON file you control, or import from CSV/TSV. Move between phones without any account.
• Beautiful, distraction‑free design. Warm paper textures, careful typography, light/dark/sepia themes. No badges, no leaderboards, no shouting.
• 100% offline. RecallPaper does not require an internet connection. It does not create accounts, does not phone home, and does not collect analytics or advertising data.
