Navigate with simple left/right arrows. • Book Mode — Continuous mushaf-style reading organized by page, exactly like the traditional printed Quran. • Translation Mode — All verses in a scrollable list with Arabic and English side by side.

TRANSLATIONS 30+ translations from leading Islamic scholars including Saheeh International, Yusuf Ali, and more. Switch between them instantly in Settings.

PRAYER TIMES, NO LOCATION PERMISSION Pick your city from a built-in list and the app calculates accurate prayer times locally using the adhan algorithm — no GPS prompt, no tracking. A live prayer clock on the home screen shows the next prayer and how much time is left.

SUNNAH REMINDERS Gentle prompts to follow the sunan of the week — Surah Al-Mulk after Maghrib and Surah Al-Kahf on Jumu'ah — appear on the home screen at the right moments.

STREAKS, GOALS & INSIGHTS • Set a daily reading goal (1–50 ayahs) or define your own threshold by ayahs or minutes • An Islamic-day streak (rolling over at Maghrib) keeps your daily reading on track • See today's ayahs, time spent, current streak, and longest streak at a glance • A Juz-by-Juz visual grid shows your journey through all 30 Juz of the Quran • A weekly insights bar chart shows your reading pattern over the last 7 days

LOCAL NOTIFICATIONS Optional, opt-in reminders scheduled around your prayer times — a nudge after Maghrib for Al-Mulk, a Jumu'ah reminder for Al-Kahf, and a streak-keeper if you haven't read yet today. Notifications are scheduled entirely on your device; nothing is sent to a server.

BOOKMARKS Star any verse to save it. Tap a bookmark to jump straight back to it. Your bookmarks are stored on your device and persist between sessions.

OFFLINE & PRIVATE A 30-day smart cache keeps surahs available without an internet connection. No ads. No accounts. Your reading progress, bookmarks, preferences, prayer times, and notifications are stored only on your device. The app sends anonymous, aggregate usage stats so we can see the impact across all users — never anything that identifies you.

ACCESSIBILITY Full VoiceOver support with proper labels on all controls. Arabic text is tagged with the correct language. Touch targets meet Apple's 44pt minimum guidelines.
