A quill you didn't pick up began to write the first chapter. By the time it reached the bottom of the page, you had three choices in front of you — or a fourth, if you grabbed the quill yourself.

This isn't a chatbot in a wig. It's a small handwritten novel that knows your name, remembers what you did three chapters ago, and refuses to repeat itself.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Pick a genre — dark romance, fantasy, mystery, crime, sci-fi, drama, romance, horror — and a mood seed. A book appears on your shelf with its own color, its own gilded cover icon, and a title the storyteller invents for you. Open it.

Watch the first chapter draw itself in real time, like a quill on parchment. When the ink dries, the storyteller offers you three deliberate paths forward. Take one, or type your own action in plain language and watch the story bend to it. The next chapter inherits everything: the world bible, the character voice, the small foreshadowing planted two pages ago.

Each book is hand-bound: a unique cover icon, a colored spine, a gilded frame, a bookmark ribbon when you've started reading. Your library grows organically — every spine on the shelf hides a world only you wrote.

StoryQuest runs Qwen3 locally via llama.rn. On first launch, the app downloads the model that fits your device's memory:

— Under 2.5 GB RAM: a compact 0.6B model (400 MB). — 2.5 GB RAM or more: a richer 1.7B model (1.1 GB).

After that, no network is needed. The model lives in your phone's local storage. You can be in airplane mode forever and StoryQuest will keep writing.
