Iqra is a quiet, focused way to learn the vocabulary of the Quran.

Every word in the Quran traces back to a root. About 1,800 roots make up the entire text. The five hundred most common cover 85% of every word — the curve is steep at the start, and you'll feel it.

THE COVERAGE METRIC Iqra shows one honest number on every screen: the percentage of every word in the Quran you now recognize. Mastering Allah alone covers nearly 1.5%. The first dozen roots cover roughly 25% of the text. The words you've recited a thousand times begin to mean something.

DAILY REVIEW Iqra uses SM-2 spaced repetition — the same algorithm that powers serious memorization apps for decades. Cards return on a schedule tuned to how well you remembered them. Again resets. Hard slows down. Good and Easy push the interval out. Your review queue stays focused: due cards first, then new cards in frequency order.

QURAN CORPUS Built on the Quranic Arabic Corpus v0.4 by Kais Dukes (University of Leeds), CC BY 3.0, with word-by-word translations from quran.com (Saheeh International). 1,799 roots, 100,000+ word occurrences, every one tappable.
