The key travels inside the link itself and never reaches our servers, so only you and the person you send it to can read a flit. Worth knowing up front: lose the link and the content is gone for good, because nobody holds a spare key.

Flit is privacy-first by design, not by policy. Shares expire on the server, files are removed from storage when they do, and what we hold in the meantime is ciphertext we have no way to open.
