Kritter Gitter: Safer Roads, One Kritter at a Time

Every day, millions of animals are hit on our roads creating hazards for drivers, disrupting our ecosystem, and leaving communities with no easy way to respond. Kritter Gitter changes that and now also helps with injured wildlife and lost pets!

Kritter Gitter helps keep roads safer and communities connected for kritters that have been hit, for injured wildlife that needs help, and for lost pets that need to find their way home.

KRITTER GITTER: ROAD SAFETY & KRITTER DIGNITY Spot a kritter on the road? Drop a pin, select the animal type, and securely snap a photo. Nearby users are notified instantly. Someone can accept the job, safely move the animal to the side of the road, and earn or donate Kritter Kash that you determine - confirmed by GPS when complete. Kritter Kash can be donated to your favorite local charities.

INJURED ANIMAL + REHABBER NETWORK When an animal is injured but still alive, every minute matters. Report it as injured and instantly see a list of licensed wildlife rehabilitators near you sorted by distance, with one-tap calling. Report and contact, make a difference and save a kritter life. Offer a donation at your discretion.

If you're a licensed wildlife rehabber, register in Settings then select Profile. Enter your organization, license ID, and the species you rehabilitate. Toggle yourself available and receive immediate alerts whenever an injured animal in your area needs help. You set the distance range for notifications and the types of kritters that you rehab.

PET GITTER: LOST & FOUND PETS Switch to Pet Gitter mode to report a lost or found pet. Describe the pet, drop a pin, and our auto-match system notifies nearby users the moment a matching report appears. Tap to call the finder, confirm the reunion, and release any offered reward - no cash, no exchanges. Help reunite lost pets to their homes faster!

HOW KRITTER KASH (TIPS/DONATIONS) WORK Set a tip when you report a sighting. It's held securely until the job is confirmed complete by GPS then released directly to the mover via Stripe. For charitable donations you select the charity from local charities and via Stripe we will manage routing the funds. No awkward exchanges.
