Steward Companion

Steward is the iOS companion to your self-hosted Steward server. You need a running Steward instance (yours, or one provisioned for you) to use this app. If you don't have one, contact us at https://fi.paired.net/support — this app on its own does nothing useful.

If you DO have a Steward instance, this is the fastest way to see what's in it. The app connects to your server over HTTPS, fetches your portfolio, and gives you a phone-shaped view of the same data you see on the web app.

WHAT YOUR SERVER TRACKS — AND THIS APP SHOWS • Stocks, ETFs, mutual funds — pulled from Yahoo Finance daily • Bonds, CDBs, treasuries with maturity tracking and coupon math • Alternatives: PE funds, hedge funds, real estate, private holdings • Structured notes • Multi-currency cash balances (USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, JPY, BRL, more) • Credit-card debt with statement balances • Recurring payments with overdue alerts

DAILY BRIEFING (PUSH) Once a day, your server pushes a snapshot of portfolio movement and what's overdue. The full briefing — same content your operator gets by email — is viewable in-app any time from Settings.

CHARTS Portfolio value over time vs S&P 500, NASDAQ, MSCI World, or any of 18 benchmark tickers. Rebased to 100 so you see relative performance. YTD default, switchable to other windows.

BANK FILTERS Per-custodian breakdowns: UBS vs JPM vs Bergos vs your bank of choice, with YTD on each slice. Multi-bank positions split proportionally.

CONNECTING Onboarding is QR-based. On your web app's Connect page, scan the QR with this app's camera. The app stores your server's URL + JWT token in iOS Keychain (via SecureStore). Biometric unlock with Face ID / Touch ID is optional.

WHO IT'S FOR Individuals running their own Steward instance because they want their financial data on their own infrastructure rather than in a third-party SaaS. Family offices, financial advisors with a handful of clients, anyone managing seven-figure-plus portfolios across multiple banks.

WHO IT'S NOT FOR • Anyone without a Steward server. There is no sign-up flow in the app — the server is provisioned separately. • Anyone who wants one-click bank linking with no backend setup. Use Mint or Empower for that.

PRIVACY Nothing in this app sends financial data to Paired Minds. All data flows between your device and your server. The app collects only: your email and the device's push token (used by your server to send notifications) and crash diagnostics. See https://fi.paired.net/privacy for the full breakdown.
