ことりは、写真で読み取った言葉を選ぶだけで、英語または日本語に自動翻訳し、自分だけの単語カードとして保存できる語学学習アプリです。

本、プリント、参考書、ノート、画面上の文章を読んでいるときに、知らない言葉や覚えたい表現に出会っても、そのたびに辞書を開いて意味を調べ、単語帳に手入力するのは意外と手間がかかります。

ことりなら、写真とOCRで文字を読み取り、学習したい言葉を選んで翻訳し、そのまま単語カードとして保存できます。覚えたい言葉を見つけた瞬間にカード化できるので、単語帳づくりをよりスムーズに進められます。作成した単語帳はフォルダーごとに管理できます。授業、試験勉強、読書、旅行、仕事など、目的に合わせて分けておくことで、必要な言葉をあとから見返しやすくなります。

また、写真から読み取るだけでなく、覚えたい言葉を手動で入力して単語カードを作成することもできます。すばやく登録したいときはOCRと自動翻訳を使い、自分でじっくり整理したいときは手入力で追加できます。写真から作る単語帳としても、自分で編集して育てる単語帳としても使えます。 作成した単語帳は、あとから見返すだけでなく、フラッシュカード形式で復習できます。カードをめくりながら意味を確認したり、覚えた言葉を繰り返しチェックしたりすることで、短い時間でも語学学習を続けやすくなります。

Words scanned from photos can be saved together with their translations. Each card has a front and back side, so you can organize words and meanings, original text and translations, or your own notes depending on how you like to study.

You can also organize your flashcards into folders. This makes it easier to separate your vocabulary by purpose, such as classes, exams, reading, travel, or work.

Kotori also supports manual card creation. When you want to register words quickly, you can use OCR and automatic translation. When you want to organize your vocabulary more carefully, you can add words manually. Kotori can be used both as a vocabulary notebook created from photos and as a personal flashcard collection that you edit and grow over time.

The flashcards you create are not only for saving words. You can review them in flashcard mode, flip cards to check meanings, and repeat words you want to remember. Kotori also includes typing practice. Instead of only looking at words, you can practice recalling and entering them yourself, which can help make your learning more active.

You can check your learning progress on the home screen. Kotori shows information such as the number of cards reviewed today, study time, study streak, and your study time over the past seven days. This helps you see your progress and build small study habits.
