Open Ink is a quiet AI-powered journal for the small, daily practice of writing your thoughts down.

Every morning, you open the app to one short question — a fresh prompt written by an AI editor whose only job is to invite you to notice something. Some days it lands on a small joy. Other days, on the thing you've been carrying. You write a sentence or a page, in your own words, with mood and tags if you want them.

Daily prompts are reworded to fit you. A short Big Five baseline at sign-up tunes the tone. Optional Enneagram and Attachment lenses (Pro) deepen the personalization further. If you add a few birth details (optional, anytime), reflections quietly weave in personality patterns drawn from your birth chart — same question, phrased so it lands for you. We never name a sign or use astrology jargon in the prompts. The personalization is quiet and opt-in.

If you already journal somewhere else, paste from Apple Notes or pick a .txt / .md file — Open Ink parses it into entries and dates them. Export your full archive as Markdown any time, also from inside the app.

Open Ink is free to install. A small Pro subscription unlocks unlimited AI insights on entries, deeper personality lenses, templates, unlimited 30-day reflections, and richer cross-entry memory. Manage or cancel from your iPhone Settings → Subscriptions any time.

— PRIVACY —

Your entries are encrypted in transit and at rest, tied to your account. Delete your account from inside the app and every entry goes with it. We never sell your data, never share it with third parties, and never train models on it.
