In Malta (BCRS), Germany (Pfand), Scandinavia (pant) and across Europe, every plastic, glass and aluminium drink container carries a refundable deposit — €0.08 to €0.25 per unit. Returning empties is great for the planet and your wallet; the trip to the supermarket is the annoying part. BottleBuddy connects neighbours directly, so the deposit goes to whoever runs the bag.

WHAT YOU CAN DO • Find empties near you on a live map (up to 5 km radius) • Post your own bottles in 30 seconds — count, photo, pickup window — and pocket a share of the deposit without leaving home • Collect and earn: redeem the bottles at any supermarket and keep the largest share of every deposit • See the full split — deposit value, provider share and BottleBuddy's small service fee — before you confirm a pickup • Coordinate in the in-app chat; the exact pickup address is only shared after a request is accepted • Invite a friend — you both get +5 bonus pickups • Mutual ratings keep the marketplace honest • Push notifications for new listings, messages and ratings • Available in 13 languages

PRIVACY-FIRST Your exact address is never on the public map — coordinates are fuzzed by roughly 330 m for everyone except your matched collector, and the precise location is only revealed in chat after both sides confirm. Optional Sign in with Apple. No contact-list scraping. GDPR data export and 30-day account deletion are available in-app under Profile → Account.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew monthly unless turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in BottleBuddy under Profile → Subscription. The Free plan stays free forever.
