REVIEW BEFORE YOUR PANTRY CHANGES Receipt and kitchen updates wait in Kitchen Inbox. Check what was found and apply the update only when you are ready. High-confidence suggestions are not applied automatically.

USE FOOD BEFORE IT GOES Today shows what needs attention. Mark an item Used, Binned or Still have, track quantity and storage, and keep expiry reminders useful.

DYNAMIC RECIPES WITH iGARDE PLUS Adjust a recipe for the meal you are cooking. Changes are temporary and leave your saved recipe unchanged. For supported ingredients and cooking uses, iGarde suggests substitutes already available in your active household pantry. Review the suggestion and cooking instructions, then use the adjusted ingredients for shopping and cooking. Reset at any time; adjustments clear when you leave the recipe.

CALORIES FOR EACH MEAL See estimated recipe totals and calories per portion across all 50 starter recipes, temporary meal adjustments and planned meals. Estimates update with supported ingredient and portion changes. Standard-food values, sources and assumptions are available in About this estimate; incomplete recipes are clearly marked. These calculations and pantry suggestions run on your iPhone without a paid AI request.

CLEAR AI CHOICES Receipt OCR and initial matching happen on your iPhone. If you choose receipt AI cleanup, iGarde sends receipt text—not the image or PDF—to Anthropic in the United States. Visual analysis is separate and sends only photos you choose, or still frames iGarde selects on your iPhone from a video you choose; the original video and its audio are never sent. iGarde asks before either AI route and lets you withdraw permission in Settings.

OPTIONAL USAGE SHARING Choose whether to share anonymous usage data in Settings > Privacy. Apple Ads attribution has its own switch and requires usage sharing. Both are off on a fresh install; updates preserve your existing usage-sharing choice. You can turn either option off at any time.

iGarde is designed for iPhone and uses UK English, dates, currency and kitchen terminology.
