Track your EV’s real cost per km without daily logging. Log public charging as you go, enter home energy once a month, and see efficiency, reports, and gas comparisons.
YOUR EV COSTS, CLEARLY TRACKED.
VoltSlide is a private iOS app for EV owners who want real cost and efficiency insight — without daily data entry.
Most EV trackers expect you to log every charge. VoltSlide doesn’t. Log public charging and expenses as they happen, then enter your home charger or utility totals once a month. You get a complete picture of your EV’s true cost per kilometer, with far less friction.
HOW VOLTSLIDE WORKS
ON THE GO
Whenever you charge away from home or incur a vehicle cost, log it right away:
• Public and DC fast charging — kWh, cost, session fees, and idle fees
• Optional odometer, location, and receipt photo
• Maintenance and expenses — registration, repairs, accessories, and more
• Seasonal tire swaps to track how different sets affect efficiency
AT HOME
With a connected Level 2 charger, skip the nightly log. On the 1st of each month, enter your charger app’s cumulative kWh and cost (ChargePoint, Grizzl-E, Wallbox) in one entry. Optional monthly reminders keep home energy up to date.
YOUR GARAGE
Keep everything about your EV in one place:
• Multiple vehicles — photo, name, and km or miles per car
• Odometer readings and distance travelled
• Service history with optional dated reminders
• Expenses, trips, and tire sets with install dates and odometer snapshots
• Purchase price, date, and optional depreciated value for ownership reporting
DASHBOARD
See how your EV is performing at a glance:
• Efficiency gauge with km/kWh or mi/kWh and trend vs the prior period
• Energy donut — home, public, and DC fast charging split
• Distance travelled with a trend chart for your selected range
• Energy cost, total operating cost, and cost per km or mile
• Quick date chips: 3 months, month, year, all time, or custom range
• Home / Public / All scope to focus on the costs you care about
COMPARE TO GAS
See how your EV stacks up against gas over the same distance and date range. Choose NRCan 2026 ICE class averages — subcompact, compact SUV, sedan, or pickup — or enter your own efficiency and gas price in Settings. Share a comparison card.
REPORTS
Custom date-range reports:
• ENERGY — home, public, and total kWh
• COSTS — energy, service, expenses, and all-in total; depreciation shown separately
• RATES — cost per kWh, per day, and per distance unit
• Monthly and yearly cost predictions from your recent driving
• PDF export plus shareable stat and prediction cards
LOG
Three entry types, one clean interface:
• Public charge — DC fast or AC/L2 with fees, location, photo, and optional odometer
• Home energy — monthly kWh and cost from your smart charger or utility bill
• Odometer — standalone mileage readings
• Edit saved entries — adjust cost per kWh, log type, or odometer after the fact
IMPORT AND EXPORT
Your data stays portable:
• Full VoltSlide CSV backup — vehicles, charging, odometer, service, expenses, trips, tires, and photos
• Import a backup to restore or move data between devices
• Import from Road Trip (CSV) — fuel, maintenance, and tire history
• Choose the destination vehicle, or create a new one on import
OPTIONAL iCLOUD SYNC
Turn on iCloud sync to keep a garage tied to your Apple ID. VoltSlide keeps separate on-device and iCloud garages — sync switches to iCloud; it does not merge automatically. Export a CSV backup first. After changing sync, swipe VoltSlide away and reopen.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account required
• No ads, tracking, or third-party analytics
• Your records stay on your device
• iCloud sync uses your Apple ID — VoltSlide does not collect or sell your data
DESIGNED FOR REAL EV DRIVERS
VoltSlide is for people who want honest answers: What does it cost to drive my EV? How efficient is it across seasons? Am I saving vs gas? No spreadsheet or daily logging required.
