THE SECOND AGE • The world doesn't remember in general: it remembers WHO you were. The innkeeper whose gold you took won't pour you a drink, and in Millbrook the price for you is a different one • Fifty hand-written marks — thirty-one of Shadow, nineteen of Light — that change prices, gifts, enemies and closed doors, across all thirty-two chapters • "Ch. XXXII — The World Names You": a chapter you don't unlock, you earn. It appears on the Map only to those who, in other lives, left enough of themselves written down

THE SCALES • The Register of Shadows: the 32 dark paths stay in the Codex between runs, and each one reopens on the scene where you took it • 19 Acts of Light, written for the chapters where doing right weighed nothing — and every one of them costs you something • Never do evil and you end on the side of Light; do it and you end in Shadow: the scales really weigh

THE DARK PATH • Every chapter has a fourth road, marked with a skull, and nothing unlocks it: it is there from the first • 32 hand-written dark paths: the evil is cold, it genuinely pays, and someone else pays the price • The epilogue names what you did, under "ELDORIA REMEMBERS" • "The Threshold": the seventh cinematic, triggered by your third dark path

THE MAP OF ELDORIA • A map drawn in ink, with the fog lifting where you have walked • The marks say what you left in each place: the choices, the bonds, the gates • And the roads you have never taken, in any run: 155 in all • Pinch to zoom, tap a place and travel back to it

HEROES AND HEROINES • Choose who you are — sex, race and class — in every mode • 240 hand-painted portraits, one for every crossing of race, class and sex • The names bend to the feminine in Italian, Spanish and French

THE COMPANIONS • Five of them, and they are earned: Lira is rescued in the first chapter; Lord Aldric, Ghelidra, Shadowmere and Mordael are won through affinity • They fight at your side, each with a strike of their own, and level up as the saga goes on • They react to your choices in their own voice: they approve, or they remember • A Bond of Loyalty for each: fulfil it and they are stronger forever, in every run to come

HAND-DRAWN • Everything is born from the stroke: dark painting and charcoal escaping the edges • Cinematics that draw themselves before you, and a dawn epilogue • The Stage: hero and enemy at their true size, walking in and dodging

THE ADVENTURE • 31 narrative chapters with Crossroads of Fate and choices with consequences • 5 multiple endings tied to your moral path, all collectible • 12 classes, 10 races, 4 difficulties — up to Hardcore mode • Tactical combat: read the enemy's intent, react to the telegraph, face multi-phase bosses
