GoodCat helps U.S. constituents contact their senators and House representative about presidential social media activity — quickly, in their own voice, and without leaving the app.

Pick a recent inflammatory post (or browse by topic), explain in your own words why it concerns you, and GoodCat drafts a letter for each of your senators and your House rep. The app then opens each official's contact form, autofills your information and the drafted message, and hands the page back to you to solve the CAPTCHA and submit.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Browse recent presidential social media posts, ranked by an AI-generated inflammatory score, or pick by topic.
2. Write a sentence or two about what concerns you. Your words shape the letter's tone and focus — the AI handles the scaffolding.
3. Enter your contact info once. It's stored encrypted on your device (iOS Keychain) and never leaves except to fill contact forms.
4. Review the drafted letter, edit if you want, then tap "Open Contact Form" for each senator or your House rep. Autofill does the rest.

WHY THIS EXISTS Constituent contact is one of the few feedback signals congressional offices actually log and report. Every call, email, and web-form contact is tallied and surfaced to staff and members. Volume isn't a vote, but it shifts what gets prioritized — committee chairs and members in competitive districts watch these numbers closely. The assumption that "they won't listen" is the single biggest drop-off point in civic engagement. GoodCat reduces the friction.

DATA HANDLING Senate contact info is sourced from senate.gov. House rep info is sourced from house.gov via the Congress.gov API. Your address is geocoded once (via Geocodio) to identify your House district, then immediately discarded.
