M² Editor is a small, focused writing app for people who think in plain text. It is built in SwiftUI for iPhone and iPad, so it launches fast, sips power, and feels like part of iOS.

WRITE ON ONE SIDE, SEE THE RESULT ON THE OTHER

On iPad, a split view puts the raw Markdown next to the rendered preview. As you type, the preview updates in real time. Drag the divider to give either side more room, or hide a pane entirely when you want to focus.

DESIGNED FOR THE IPHONE TOO

On iPhone, a segmented control in the navigation bar switches between the Editor and Preview panes. A formatting accessory bar above the keyboard gives you one-tap bold, italic, strikethrough, code, link, heading, list, and blockquote, so you can keep writing without hunting for symbols.

A REAL MOBILE TEXT EDITOR

The editor pane is built on the native iOS text engine, with all the niceties you’d expect: full undo/redo, smart selection, and a formatting bar that surfaces the most common Markdown shortcuts.

Markdown syntax is gently highlighted — headings, bold, italic, code, links, lists, and quotes — without ever getting in the way of the words.

OPEN YOUR FILES FROM ANYWHERE

M² Editor is a document-based app. Open any .md file from the Files app, from iCloud Drive, or from any file provider. Edits persist to the original file automatically.

HEADING-AWARE SCROLL SYNC

The editor and preview stay aligned by heading and section. Scroll one pane and the other follows, anchored to the nearest heading so the two views never drift apart.

LIGHT AND DARK

The editor and preview follow your system appearance or can be overridden independently. Font sizes for the editor and preview are adjustable in Settings.
