The metronome gnome is a focused, beautifully crafted metronome for musicians who care about timing — not menus.

• Drift-free timing — a monotonic-clock scheduler keeps every beat locked to the requested BPM, even across long sessions.

• Static mode — the classic metronome. Pick a BPM (20–300), pick a time signature, press play.

• Auto-increment mode — set a floor, a ceiling, and how often the tempo should climb. The app raises the BPM step by step and wraps back to the floor at the top. Perfect for progressively pushing your speed limit on a tricky lick.

• Manual mode - You can create your odd time signature whatever way you like to count. Free mode is up to 5 ticks, but the premium mode gives you 20 ticks. You can accent and skip beats however you like to.

• Timin practice. The metronome skips a set number of beats in every X beats. You have to land on the next audible tick. Keep the tempo, improve your internal timing!

• Dark-mode-first design — high contrast, subtle neon accents on the active beat. Easy on stage and easy at 1 AM.

• Crisp accent + click samples that cut through a podcast or a backing track without becoming harsh.

• Settings stay local on your device — your BPM, mode, time signature, and auto-increment configuration are stored locally in MMKV. There is no sign-up, no profile, no cloud sync to manage.
