Splendor Vault is an air-gapped signing device for your phone. It keeps your private keys offline while you use a companion wallet app for balances, history, and broadcasting to the Splendor network.

Your keys are generated on-device from secure entropy and protected by Face ID or Touch ID. They never leave your device. All data in and out flows through QR codes scanned with your camera without internet, servers or cloud sync.

WHY USE AN AIR-GAPPED SIGNER

Hot wallets on internet-connected phones are convenient but expose your signing key to malware, phishing, and network attacks. Splendor Vault separates signing from connectivity: your online wallet prepares transactions; Vault signs them only after you review every detail and authenticate with biometrics.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Create or import your vault: Generate a new wallet with a BIP-39 recovery phrase, or import an existing mnemonic or private key. Write down your backup phrase and store it securely offline.

2. Pair with your wallet: Share your public address and pairing data as a QR code so your companion wallet can build transactions for your vault address.

3. Sign transactions: When you send assets, your wallet app shows an unsigned transaction as a QR code. Scan it in Splendor Vault, review recipient, amount, gas, chain ID, and token details, then confirm with biometrics. Vault returns a signed transaction QR for your wallet to broadcast.

4. Sign messages: Approve structured message signing requests the same way, with full review before any signature is produced.

SECURITY MODEL

Splendor Vault is signing-only. It does not track your balance, transaction history, or chain state. Its job is to protect your private key and produce valid cryptographic signatures when you explicitly approve.

Entropy is encrypted using keys bound to your device's secure hardware and biometric gate. For strongest protection, dedicate a phone to Vault, keep it in airplane mode, and use Splendor Wallet (or any compatible QR-signing wallet) on a separate device.

GETTING STARTED

Install Splendor Vault on a device you can keep offline. Enroll biometrics before creating a vault. Complete setup, back up your phrase, pair with your online wallet, and practice signing a small test transaction on testnet before moving real funds.

IMPORTANT

Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Double-check addresses, amounts, and chain IDs on every signing screen. Never share your recovery phrase or import untrusted QR codes. This app does not provide investment advice.

You are responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase and devices. Splendor Vault cannot recover lost phrases or reverse signed transactions. Always verify QR payloads and on-screen details before approving.
