Storms, Forecasts & Hurricanes
New: GOES satellite across the U.S. and tropics, plus NHC hurricane tracking and super-res radar. Serious weather data, shown clearly. No ads. No tracking.
RadarCast is a weather app for people who want clear radar, reliable forecasts, and fewer distractions.
Built by an Emmy Award-winning meteorologist with 14 years on television, from everyday forecasts to major tornado outbreaks. I left broadcast 10 years ago for software to do that same job: serious weather data, shown clearly.
Radar + Cast: radar when storms are happening, forecasts when you're planning your day.
WHAT YOU SEE FIRST
RadarCast opens to a clean radar map: roads, county lines, rivers, coastlines, and live weather alerts over real geography. Zoom to your neighborhood or pull back for the region, and tap warnings, storm tracks, discussions, and reports to see what's happening and why. No flashing ads. No tracking. No clutter.
PIN THE PLACES THAT MATTER
Pin the places you care about (home, family, work, the lake) right on the radar map, so you can see exactly where the weather is relative to what matters. Each one carries current conditions and a forecast, one tap away.
TRACK THE TROPICS
When the tropics get active, RadarCast puts the full National Hurricane Center picture on your radar. Follow the official forecast cone, track, and category points, and tap any storm for its winds, gusts, and timing. Before anything is named, the Tropical Weather Outlook shows where the NHC is watching for development, with 2-day and 7-day formation odds. For deeper tracking, Pro adds forecast wind radii, time of arrival, wind history, wind probability, and model guidance.
DESIGNED TO TEACH, NOT INTIMIDATE
Alerts carry plain-language hazard details, and every product adds context, so you learn what a Severe Thunderstorm Watch means, or what rotation looks like, as you go.
POWERFUL WHEN YOU NEED IT
The data layers meteorologists use, one tap away:
• High-resolution radar from every U.S. NEXRAD site

• Live lightning with a strike counter
• NWS warnings drawn directly on the map
• Push alerts for Tornado, Severe Thunderstorm, and Flash Flood Warnings (plus optional Watches) for your location and Home
• SPC and WPC mesoscale discussions
