LinguaCast lets guests listen to live interpretation on iPhone or iPad over venue Wi-Fi where a LinguaCast Broadcaster is available. Choose a room and language.
LinguaCast turns an iPhone or iPad into a live interpretation receiver for conferences, international meetings, seminars, congresses, training sessions, multilingual panels, and events where simultaneous interpretation is provided.
IMPORTANT: LinguaCast only works when there is an active LinguaCast Broadcaster running and broadcasting on the same venue network. The app does not translate by itself, does not create interpretation audio, does not connect to public radio, and does not stream from the internet. It is a listener app for events where a LinguaCast Broadcaster has been set up by the organizer or technical team.
When a LinguaCast Broadcaster is available, attendees connect to the venue Wi-Fi, open LinguaCast, choose the meeting room, and tap the language channel they want to hear. They can switch between available channels, stop listening instantly, and use their own headphones with a simple and familiar interface.
LinguaCast can be used in all kinds of international and multilingual meetings where interpretation is required, including conferences, association events, NGO meetings, corporate meetings, academic seminars, diplomatic gatherings, training programs, religious events, community meetings, congresses, workshops, and multi-room venues.
LinguaCast is designed as a practical replacement for conventional infrared simultaneous interpretation receivers. Instead of handing out dedicated receiver devices, collecting them back, charging batteries, managing broken units, or organizing separate hardware distribution, an event can deliver interpretation audio directly to attendees’ own iPhone or iPad over the local venue network.
For attendees, LinguaCast makes listening simple: connect, select the room, choose a language, and listen. For organizers, it can reduce equipment handling, simplify receiver distribution, and make multilingual access easier across the venue.
Key features:
Live interpretation listening over venue Wi-Fi
Simple room and language selection
Clear live and offline channel status
Quick start, stop, and channel switching
Works with attendees’ own iPhone or iPad
Designed for conferences and international meetings
Useful for multilingual events with simultaneous interpretation
Can replace conventional infrared interpretation receivers
Requires LinguaCast Broadcaster on the same network
LinguaCast is especially useful for events that need a flexible and modern alternative to traditional receiver systems. Participants can use the device they already carry, while the event team controls the available rooms, language channels, and broadcast sources through LinguaCast Broadcaster.
Please note again: LinguaCast is not a standalone translation service. It requires interpreters, audio sources, and an active LinguaCast Broadcaster at the event location. If there is no LinguaCast Broadcaster broadcasting on the venue network, the app will not have channels to play.
When LinguaCast Broadcaster is live, LinguaCast provides an easy, reliable way for attendees to follow the speaker in the language they need.
