Pamily: Household Planner

The private family planner: one shared calendar, chores that take turns, a fridge of notes, a meal plan that fills the shopping list. No account, no ads.

Pamily is a small, private place for the lives you share.

It's a family planner that runs on your device — no account needed, never any ads. Birthdays, school pickups, the shopping list, the note on the fridge: everything stays on this phone unless you choose to sync or share it, and synced data is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves.

— What Pamily does today —

• Family Calendar — day, week and month views in each person's colour. In the Day view, tap a time to add an event or hold one to move it. Birthdays show up every year, double-bookings get flagged, and "Just mine" hides everyone else's plans.

• Calendars you already use — one tap from the Calendar tab. Follow school, club and holiday calendars by link and they update themselves. Show your phone's calendars next to the family's, copy family events into one, or import and export .ics files.

• School notices, read for you — share a photo, PDF or forwarded message into Pamily and it picks out the dates, ready to add as events and to-dos with one tap.

• Ask Pamily — on devices with built-in AI, ask what's on or what's due, or just say what to add. It runs on your device, and nothing is added until you tap.

• Tasks — a shared to-do list bucketed by today, this week, later, and done. Assign one person or several, mark urgent, set due dates, tick them off.

• Chores — repeat on the schedule you set and rotate through the family, with Done and Snooze right on the reminder.

• Notes — a digital fridge. Pin what matters, snap the school flyer straight onto it, attach PDFs, and turn any note into a checklist. The shopping list lives here.

• Meals — plan the week's dinners, assign the cook, and send each dish's ingredients to the shopping list in one tap.

• Nudges — a morning summary of the day, and after you save an event, the to-dos it usually brings, like a present for a party.

• Pamily (Family) — every member with their own colour, role, avatar and birthday. Quiet Wins shows who's been carrying the load.

• Extras — subscriptions and school fees, an Annual Rollup of your family's year, and a home-screen widget for today.

— Sync the whole household (optional) —

• Personal plan: sync your own devices through your own iCloud or Google Drive. Pamily never holds your data. • Family plan: one person subscribes, everyone joins free with a QR invite — one shared workspace on every phone, updated in seconds. • Everything synced is end-to-end encrypted on your device first. Servers only ever store ciphertext that cannot be read — not even by the developer.

— Privacy by design —

• No account, email, or phone number needed; sign-in exists only for the optional Family plan. • No advertising SDKs. No data sales. No third-party trackers. • Ask Pamily and notice reading happen on your device. • Anonymous crash reports and usage counters (Google Firebase) help fix bugs — never the contents of your calendar, tasks, or notes. Opt out in Settings → Privacy. • Local-only mode: one switch turns off sync and diagnostics entirely. • Wipe everything from one tile in Sdeletes it all.

— Backup, on your terms —

Export an encrypted backup anywhere Drive, AirDrop, USB. Portable backups use a passphrase you choose and restore on any device.
