WHY RENT INSTEAD OF BUY A cordless drill sits in most garages, unused 359 days a year. The neighbor who needs one buys their own and adds another to the pile. ToolShed connects the people who already own tools with the people who need them for a weekend project, saving money on both sides and keeping good gear in use.

HOW IT WORKS Browse tools near you on a map. Pick a date range. Book and pay through the app. Pick up from your neighbor on the day, return when you said you would. Stripe handles the payment so cash never has to change hands.

Listing a tool you own takes a few minutes. Add a photo, set a daily rate, and you're live. Renters book through the app; you confirm pickup and return. We handle the payments and identity verification so you can focus on the handshake.

TRUST AND SAFETY Every renter verifies their identity through Stripe before booking. Owners review profiles before accepting. Each rental includes up to $500 in damage protection through a per-booking hold on the renter's card. Disputes go through a human review process, not an algorithm.

LAUNCHING IN Focusing on Denver, Colorado and the Atlanta metro (including Decatur), though the app will be available across the US. More cities follow once these are running smoothly.

PRIVACY AND CONTROL You decide what to list, who to lend to, and when. Your address is shown only to renters with a confirmed booking. Tool listings appear at a fuzzed location until pickup is confirmed, so passersby can't see exactly where the gear lives.
