HOW IT WORKS Open the app. We use your iPhone's location to figure out which US state you're in (your coordinates never leave your phone). The home screen and law cards update instantly. Tap any card to see exactly what the rules are. Push notifications fire when LawLert detects a state change while you're using the app — and we're working on background notifications that arrive without opening the app for a future release.

COVERAGE LawLert v1.0 covers all 50 US states. US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, USVI, etc.) and countries outside the United States are on the roadmap for a future release — you can sign up at lawlertapp.com to be notified when international support launches in your region. Until then, outside US borders the app defaults to a manual state-picker and clearly disclaims that no live detection is happening.

PRIVACY Your location stays on your device. We don't sell data. We don't track you. We don't share your alert history with anyone. Anonymous mode is the default. We store only your current state code (e.g., "CA"), never your raw coordinates or route history.
