If a Premium subscription expires, your trees, photos, and reminders all stay. You'll have a 7-day grace period before the limits return; the first 10 trees you created remain editable, and the rest become read-only until you renew or trim back.

WHO BUILDS THIS

Yoi Bonsai is built and maintained by Lonnie Bowling — a working bonsai enthusiast. The project is run as a service to the bonsai community, not as a profit-maximizing business: the goal is the best possible platform, a reasonable subscription to develop and maintain it, and contribution to the advancement of the hobby and the art. The structural choices that follow are deliberate:

• Ichiba charges zero fees. Sellers keep 100% of the sale. • Subscription fee held or lowered as the goal — never raised just to chase profit. • No ads. No tracking pixels. No selling your data — ever. • One-tap export of every tree, log entry, and reminder, plus bulk photos at original quality. • Real questions reach a real person. 3–5 business days, often faster. • If the app is ever discontinued, you get 90 days notice and a final export.

This is built to be good for the long-haul enthusiast, not optimized for the new install.
