LetzFly is the pilot logbook and flight recording app your flying actually deserves.

One tap starts everything. Background GPS, automatic takeoff and landing detection, real flight time, distance, altitude, ground speed, every breadcrumb saved in detail. Start and stop from your iPhone or your Apple Watch, or let LetzFly start itself when you reach the runway. No reaching for the phone on short final to mark a landing. The recorder does its job, and it does it beautifully.

Built for iOS from the ground up, with beautiful surfaces and fluid motion. The route on the map is not a flat line. Each segment is scored and color coded, so a glance shows where the flight was clean and where it got busy, and the aeronautical chart lays airspace and navaids over your track. Standard logbook fields are first class citizens, pilot function and aircraft class, day and night landings, night and IFR time, and an automatic FSTD flag for simulator hours. Already flying with another logbook? Import your history from ForeFlight, MyFlightbook, or any CSV, and LetzFly maps the columns for you. Imperial units where pilots expect them, feet, nautical miles, knots, and a 24 hour clock.

Telemetry is configurable per flight. Pick device GPS for the real airplane, or a GDL90 source to log an X-Plane or MSFS session over your network.

When a flight starts, LetzFly streams a live trace to the cloud, so family, an instructor, or a club watch the airplane move across a map in real time, with takeoff and landing markers and a full phase breakdown. Distinct chimes, a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, and a home screen widget keep the flight a glance away. Your logbook stays yours, offline on the iPhone and mirrored by iCloud to your private Apple ID.
