SurgeTix Gatekeeper turns any iPhone into professional door-scanning hardware for festivals, cinemas, conferences, and live venues.

Built for the people working the gate — not the people in the back office. Open the app, pick your event, point the camera at a QR code. Green banner means admit. Amber means already entered. Red means deny, with a haptic kick so you feel it without looking. That's the whole job. Everything else is plumbing.

• Sub-200ms scan-to-decision. Vision Camera handles the QR pipeline natively; the API call is the slow part, and we instrument it. • Designed for one-handed use under stage lights. High-contrast cream-on-coral palette, big targets, no fiddly menus. • Honest feedback when things go wrong. Network timeout, invalid signature, revoked ticket, wrong event — every error gets its own banner and copy, not a generic "failed". • Live admit counter and recent-scans feed so supervisors can spot bottlenecks without leaving the gate. • MFA-protected sign-in. BUILT FOR REAL FESTIVALS

We built Gatekeeper alongside the SurgeTix booking platform that powers European film festivals, cinema chains, and multi-day music events. Door staff using the same backend get:

• Tenant-scoped event lists — your team sees only your events. • Festival pass support — multi-day passes, sectionals, student passes, gift cards, comp tickets all scan the same way. • Cinema operator mode — recurring showtimes, membership renewals, bundle countdowns. • Apple Wallet pass support via embedded QR.

WHAT IT IS NOT

• Not a consumer ticket app. Attendees keep using their email or Apple Wallet pass. • Not a stand-alone product. Gatekeeper authenticates against your SurgeTix tenant. If you don't have a SurgeTix organizer account, contact us before downloading. • Not online-only marketing. We don't track you, don't ship analytics SDKs, don't read your contacts.

REQUIREMENTS

• An active SurgeTix organizer account with check-in permissions. • iPhone with iOS 16 or later. • Camera access (only used to scan QR codes — never recorded, never uploaded).
