Koe is an accessibility communication aid for iPhone — a tap-driven app that helps people who find speaking difficult express themselves with their own voice. Recordings, inputs, and AI-generated phrase suggestions all stay on your iPhone. No network. No cloud.

UI is in Japanese. Spoken output can be switched among Japanese, English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.

■ Privacy by design

The app holds no network entitlement. Speech recognition uses Apple's on-device SFSpeechRecognizer. Phrase generation runs on Apple Foundation Model or MLX Gemma 4 locally. Personal Voice never leaves the device. Recordings and inputs are never transmitted.
